Job summary

City Electric Supply is hiring an EDI Integrations Team Lead to manage data exchange systems with customers and suppliers, and to migrate in‑house EDI integrations to a centralized third‑party platform.

You will design, test, and implement EDI solutions, train users, and collaborate with IT teams to deliver end‑to‑end data interchange projects.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of EDI experience in a related field.
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and overseeing EDI services.
  • EDI and SFTP experience (EDI FTP over VPN, SFTP, FTPS).
  • Experience with ANSI X12 transactions.
  • Knowledge of API and bespoke integration solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Document and assess the current EDI and integrations setup.
  • Implement, test, and adjust EDI integrations between CES and its customers and suppliers.
  • Meet with customers and suppliers to understand data interchange needs and design the right EDI solution.
  • Onboard customers and suppliers with third party vendors.
  • Serve as the point of contact for customers and suppliers to support the CES relationship.
  • Support and maintain the existing EDI model, including periodic system updates.
  • Lead and guide the EDI team, and manage and prioritize your own workload.
  • Collaborate with IT project teams across lifecycles to deliver as a team.

Your duties include documenting and assessing current EDI/Integrations setup. Engaging with customers and suppliers to get them onboarded with any third-party vendors. You will be the point of contact for suppliers and customer to help with the CES relationship as well as helping support the existing EDI model in place. Play an active role in the migration of in-house managed EDI integrations to a centralized, third- party platform. You will be an integral part of implementations between any customers/suppliers who would like to get EDI setup. You then implement the plan, test the systems, and adjust if necessary. In this role, you will be meeting with clients to understand their data interchange needs, designing appropriate EDI systems, and training them on the use of the system.
