Job summary

TechDigital Group in Rahway, NJ seeks an experienced EDI middleware specialist to design, develop, and maintain IBM Sterling Integrator / B2B Integrator processes, maps, and configurations for end-to-end EDI integrations.

You will work with EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, CSV formats, implement AS2/SFTP/FTP pipelines, and collaborate with ERP teams to resolve issues and onboard partners. The role requires production support experience and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with IBM Sterling Integrator / B2B Integrator for end-to-end EDI integrations.
  • Proficiency in graphical process modeling using GPM.
  • Ability to create and modify EDI/XML/Flat File maps via Sterling Map Editor.
  • Deep knowledge of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV formats and related EDI messages.
  • Experience with multiple communication protocols: AS2, SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, MQ, VAN.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SI/IB2BI BPs, adapters, and routing for EDI integrations.
  • Build and update maps translating between EDIFACT, X12, XML, and IDocs.
  • Configure Trading Partner setups and document routing in SI.
  • Troubleshoot SI processes across pipelines, routing, services, and maps.
  • Monitor logs, BP flows, and dashboards to preemptively resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with ERP teams (Oracle, SAP, JDE) to fix EDI issues and deliver fixes.
  • Onboard new partners including mapping, connectivity testing, and cutover.
  • Support EDI translation and document flow across protocols, maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Document BPs, maps, partner setups, and other artifacts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth EDI operations.

Skills Required
  • Strong hands‑on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator / B2B Integrator (SI/IB2BI).
  • Proficient in Business Process development using GPM (Graphical Process Modeler).
  • Skilled in creating and modifying EDI, XML, and Flat File maps using Sterling Map Editor.
  • Expertise in EDI standards including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and CSV formats.
  • In‑depth knowledge of key EDI messages such as 850, 855, 856, 810, 830, 862, ORDERS, ORDRSP, DELFOR, DESADV, INVOIC, etc.
  • Experience with communication protocols: AS2, SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, MQ, OFTP2, VAN.
  • Strong understanding of SI components such as: Adapters, Services, Enveloping/De‑enveloping, Translation services, Scheduling, document tracking, and reporting.
  • Understanding of production support processes, SLAs, incident management, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to work in complex, multi‑system, high‑volume EDI environments.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Sterling Integrator / B2B Integrator (IB2BI) Business Processes (BPs), service configurations, adapters, and routing rules to support end‑to‑end EDI integrations.
  • Build new maps and update existing maps using Sterling Map Editor, ensuring accurate translation between EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, flat files, and IDocs.
  • Configure and manage Trading Partner setups, communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, VAN, OFTP2), and document routing in SI.
  • Troubleshoot complex SI processes, including failures in pipelines, document routing, service calls, communications, queues, and maps.
  • Monitor system logs, message flows, BP logs, and dashboards to proactively identify and resolve integration issues.
  • Work closely with business teams and ERP support teams (Oracle, SAP, JDE, etc.) to analyze EDI‑related issues and deliver accurate, timely fixes.
  • Manage new partner onboarding, including requirement gathering, mapping development, connectivity testing, and production cutover.
  • Support all EDI translation and document flow across multiple protocols and formats, maintaining quality, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Create and maintain documentation for BPs, maps, partner setups, and other artifacts.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional technical teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth EDI operations across the enterprise.
