Job description

This position can by hybrid in Milwaukee or remote.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States WITHOUT requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization now or in the future.

We are seeking a proactive and organized EDI Coordinator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide project coordination and tracking as customers are migrated to new EDI solutions and make necessary changes to existing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Oversee the coordination of EDI migration projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope. Work closely with customers and internal teams to manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding EDI implementation, modifications, and migration processes. Ensure clear and effective communication to understand customer requirements and provide timely updates.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external trading partners, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • EDI Implementation: Coordinate the setup and configuration of EDI systems, including mapping, testing, and troubleshooting. Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful implementation. Ability to participate/perform some testing.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, customer interactions, and migration processes. Ensure all records are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Work closely with IT, operations, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of EDI solutions. Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss and resolve EDI-related matters.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of EDI migration projects.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in EDI coordination or a similar role. Experience with EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and EDI software/tools is a plus.
  • 3+ years experience communicating with Trading Partners/Customers preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity in EDI mapping, translation, and communication protocols. Familiarity with ERP systems and databases.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
