Job summary

Jones Grove IT Recruiting seeks an EDI Analyst in Charlotte, NC to support and enhance data exchanges across ERP, ecommerce, and 3PL platforms. You will partner with business teams, IT, and external providers to implement, test, and troubleshoot integrations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of EDI mappings, SAP experience, and familiarity with EDI X12, APIs, FTP, and onboarding new customers and trading partners. This is an onsite, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS or related field.
• 4+ years in EDI mapping and data integrations.
• 4+ years on integration platforms (TrueCommerce, Rithum, Alluvia).
• Strong knowledge of EDI X12 standards.
• Experience with APIs, FTP and related tech.
• Experience with SAP ECC/Business One/SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with ecommerce integrations and 3PL partnerships.

EDI Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite, 5 Days per Week

Position Overview

We are seeking an EDI Analyst to support and enhance the technology integrations that connect business systems, customers, vendors, and external commerce platforms.

This position will work closely with internal business teams, IT resources, and third-party technology partners to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic data exchanges across a variety of systems.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with EDI integrations, ERP systems, and e-commerce technologies, along with a strong understanding of retail operations and business processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving system connectivity, and working across both business and technology functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of EDI and electronic commerce integrations across internal and external systems.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements, document integration needs, and support new customer and trading partner onboarding.
• Coordinate EDI mapping, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities with internal teams and external integration providers.
• Manage data exchanges between ERP applications, e-commerce platforms, retail partners, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Work with integration technologies and protocols including EDI X12, APIs, FTP, and RFC.
• Investigate and resolve integration errors, transaction failures, data discrepancies, and other connectivity issues.
• Participate in integration testing, validation, and deployment activities to ensure accurate and reliable data transmission.
• Support multiple projects and operational priorities while maintaining consistent communication with business users and technical teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience working with EDI mapping, transaction processing, and electronic data integrations.
• 4+ years of experience with integration platforms such as TrueCommerce, Rithum, Alluvia, or comparable technologies.
• Strong working knowledge of EDI X12 standards and common electronic business transactions.
• Experience integrating business applications using APIs, EDI, FTP, and related communication technologies.
• Experience supporting ERP integrations involving SAP ECC, SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA, or similar SAP environments.
• Experience supporting e-commerce operations and integrations involving third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting technology integrations within the textile, apparel, or consumer goods industries.
• Experience coordinating integrations across multiple ERP, e-commerce, and warehouse or logistics systems.
• Understanding of retail data standards, including GS1, SSCC, and UPC.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
• Candidates must be available to work onsite five days per week. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.
• No routine travel is required.
