Job summary

St. Timothy Parish seeks a Faith-centered Youth Ministry Coordinator to develop a discipleship-based Edge curriculum, oversee weekly Edge Nights and retreats, and coordinate a 24+ person volunteer team. You will collaborate with parish and diocese staff and maintain communication with families.

You’ll promote safe environment practices, attend staff meetings, and ensure alignment with parish programs while supporting youth formation across middle and high school levels.

Qualifications

• Practicing Catholic in good standing with active faith.
• Some formal theology or catechesis training.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related position.
• Ability to recruit and lead a volunteer core.
• Knowledge of Canva, Flocknote, AV setup is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and foster a comprehensive discipleship-based curriculum for Edge, including weekly Edge Nights, retreats, service and social events.
• Host and teach Edge Nights with 100+ youth.
• Communicate weekly with parents regarding ministry, parish life and at-home formation opportunities.
• Coordinate, recruit, form, support and evaluate a core team of 24+ volunteers/teens.
• Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to bridge programs (CGS to EDGE, EDGE to Life Teen).
• Participate in Diocesan & Life Teen Youth Ministry Programs and Training Opportunities.
• Provide timely information for worship aids, parish emails, social media, and parish website updates.
