Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Software Architect for its Access Edge Devices team. You will design, write, and deliver software services for edge devices in aviation, maritime, and other markets, focusing on scale, reliability, and operational efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with product managers and engineers to create roadmaps, evolve software practices, and drive DevOps end-to-end in a site-based role requiring 60%+ office presence.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with extensive related experience.
• Hands-on experience with Domain Modeling, Distributed Systems, API Management, and Micro-services Architecture.
• Experience with edge devices requiring real-time constraints and remote management.
