Job summary

Eaton Corporation seeks an Edge Offer Manager to define and drive the Brightlayer Edge roadmap across our connected hardware and edge software portfolio. The role can be based at Beachwood, OH; Menomonee Falls, WI; Moon Township, PA; or Raleigh, NC, with 10–25% travel.

You will own the edge strategy, translate product plans into architectures, align across Edge, Connectivity, Cloud and Applications, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, reliable

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, platform strategy, or systems engineering.
Proven experience delivering connected products, embedded systems, or edge platforms in industrial or infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

Own Brightlayer Edge strategy and roadmap.
Define how connected hardware, edge software, and cloud services integrate within Brightlayer architecture.
Establish edge vs software execution decisions (on‑prem or cloud) across use cases.
Define and evolve Brightlayer Edge capabilities including device connectivity and industrial protocols.
Security: onboard devices securely, manage identity and lifecycle.
Handle local data normalization, buffering, and rules execution.
Oversee edge analytics and AI/ML inference where applicable.
Partner with hardware/firmware teams to ensure Brightlayer Ready by design.
Translate product strategy into reference architectures and platform components.
Drive alignment across Edge, Connectivity, Cloud, Applications to reduce fragmentation.
Ensure edge capabilities meet OT reliability, latency, and security requirements.
