Job summary

Amazon in Seattle, WA is seeking a Network Development Engineer for the EDGE team within AWS GCNA. You will partner with Infrastructure and Software teams to implement scalable networking designs and sustain next‑gen networks across data centers and customer links.

This role focuses on deploying engineering tools, automating changes, and ensuring reliability for high‑volume internet traffic. Candidates bring 4+ years in routing protocols and Linux/Unix, with strong TCP/IP knowledge and network

Qualifications

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
• 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience.
• Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking and core routing technologies (IP, TCP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP).
• Experience with network security architecture, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement changes on the network.
• Lead network projects in deployment, scaling, and optimization.
• Operate and troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, and configurations issues.
