Job summary

EnterpriseKC is seeking a Network Administrator to own Ora Nexum, EKC's edge-based private cloud network spanning multiple partner-hosted environments across Kansas and Missouri. You will ensure security, reliability, and scalability of the infrastructure that powers DataSphere, TalentSphere, and related platforms.

You will lead technical design, monitor performance, and guide architecture evolution while collaborating with leadership and partner organizations to align infrastructure with EKC's

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years designing or supporting secure network architectures.
• 2-3+ years supporting end-user systems and workplace technology.
• 2-4+ years managing infrastructure monitoring, patching, and maintenance at scale.
• Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.
• Negotiation and relationship-building for partner acquisition.
• Project management to coordinate deployments.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and operate EKC's distributed network across partner-hosted sites.
• Ensure reliable connectivity, bandwidth utilization, and network performance.
• Implement and maintain secure network segmentation (firewalls, VLANs, DMZs).
• Monitor network health and performance, identify risks and improvements.
• Maintain configuration standards and comprehensive network documentation.
• Support server installation, hosting environments, and readiness.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for partners.
• Explain EKC's infrastructure model and hosting requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to align infrastructure with EKC's mission.
• Provision and configure associate laptops with baseline security.
• Troubleshoot workstation issues.
• Support conference rooms and AV systems.
• Oversee infrastructure assets (servers, hosted machines).
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• Ensure disaster recovery planning and regulatory compliance.
