Torc Robotics is seeking a Software Engineer on the ML Ops Framework & Conversion team to own model conversion, deployment on edge devices, and the model release registry. You will work with perception and safety teams to ensure every model ships with latency and accuracy meeting safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field with 0-3+ years of experience.
• Experience with model conversion and compilation pipelines (ONNX, TensorRT, torch.compile).
• Hands-on deployment/testing on edge hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Orin).
• Experience maintaining a model release registry in production.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement model conversion and compilation pipelines for edge deployment.
• Maintain and evolve the model release registry across platforms.
• Perform latency benchmarking and quality parity validation for safety-critical models.
• Compare metrics across platforms to ensure accuracy and latency requirements.
• Collaborate with model development teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable pipelines.
