Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an IoT Engineer to join its network automation team in Chandler, AZ. You will design enterprise-scale IoT and edge solutions across device, edge, network and cloud to enable real-time data processing near data sources.

Responsibilities include driving automation for provisioning, monitoring and lifecycle, implementing telemetry pipelines, enforcing security and governance, and mentoring engineers while applying modern practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Architecture experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military, or education.
• Edge, Data, and Platform Integration with real-time data collection and edge processing.
• Automation and Device Lifecycle Management: provisioning, monitoring, firmware management.
• IoT/edge architecture, Python, APIs, and cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and governance of enterprise-scale IoT and edge solutions.
• Define architectures across device, edge, network, and cloud.
• Drive automation for provisioning, monitoring, and lifecycle.
• Implement telemetry and data pipelines.
• Ensure integration with enterprise platforms.
• Apply AI tools for analytics and operations.
• Enforce security, compliance, and risk controls.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines.
