Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies (Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols
• Fundamentals of cybersecurity and defense-in-depth concepts
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Responsibilities

• Respond to firewall requests and incidents/outages
• Implement firewall policies and monitor logs for security events
• Document firewall changes and maintain configuration records
• Lead complex firewall projects and migrations (level 2)
• Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for critical incidents
• Develop and maintain firewall configuration standards and best practices
• Conduct security assessments and audits of firewall policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security issues
