Job summary

HDR is seeking a Network Engineer to independently support enterprise connectivity across office LAN/WAN, branch networks, wireless, firewalls, SD-WAN, and cloud-connected edge environments. This on-site role supports 24/7 operations with the 6:00 AM–6:00 PM window, Monday through Friday, plus scheduled on-call for business continuity.

The candidate should have 3+ years in network engineering, experience with routing, switching, VPNs, VLANs, and cloud networking in hybrid IT environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in network engineering or enterprise infrastructure support.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, wireless and office networking.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, WAN, VPNs and firewall administration.
• Familiarity with change management, incident management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise connectivity across LAN/WAN, branch networks, wireless, and edge cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents involving routing, VPNs, and firewall policies.
• Implement changes to switches, routers, firewalls, SD-WAN, and cloud network components.
• Support connectivity between offices, private cloud, datacenters, and public cloud services.
• Assist with public cloud networking, VNets/VPCs, routing and security controls.
• Participate in lifecycle activities: hardware refresh, upgrades, migrations, wireless improvements.
• Ensure changes comply with governance and security standards.
• Create and maintain network diagrams, standards, and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to Connectivity Engineer I team members.
• Participate in on-call support and operational readiness.
