Job summary

Amazon is building advanced edge compute solutions for industrial automation in its fulfillment centers. The role centers on hands-on software development across low-level machine controls, embedded Linux, and cloud interfaces to manage fleets of devices.

You will own the software lifecycle from scoping and design to testing and delivery, collaborating with internal R&D and automation partners in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, embedded or distributed software applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming in at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Integrate with various hardware and software services across the warehouse tech stack.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and validate solutions via software-in-the-loop simulation.
• Collaborate with deployment teams to deliver end-to-end field solutions.
• Develop infrastructure for development, operations, and maintenance of warehouse automation software.
