Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Familiarity with FE exam and obtaining EIT within 12 months of employment.
- Ability to apply engineering principles to project tasks and decisions.
- Experience in communicating technical information to diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret engineering data and prepare reports.
- Communicate with VDOT staff, government agencies, and the public.
- Support project management, scope, schedule and budgets.
- Provide technical guidance and training within assigned program areas.
- Prepare analyses, recommendations, and engineering determinations.
