Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related ABET program by start of employment.
• Pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and obtain EIT within 12 months.
• Knowledge of highway construction principles.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Skill in basic computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Construction: general knowledge of field inspections and project documentation.
• Environmental: knowledge of environmental role and responsibilities.
• Maintenance: knowledge of maintenance systems and activities.
• Roadway Design: develop roadway designs for a wide range of projects.
• Right of Way/Traffic: general knowledge of respective functions and responsibilities.
