Versatile in Nunica, Michigan, seeks an Edge Band Operator to set up and run semi-automatic and fully automatic edge banding machines, ensuring precise edging on wood components.

Experience with HOMAG and Biesse machines is preferred; join a fast-paced team with strong safety standards, a 40-hour+ weekly schedule, and opportunities for overtime and growth.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating edge banding machines (semi-automatic and fully automatic).
• Familiarity with contour edgebanding is a plus.
• Knowledge of HOMAG and Biesse equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate edge banding machines to apply edging materials to wood components.
• Adjust machine settings for different materials, profiles, and thicknesses.
• Monitor production quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment.
• Inspect finished components for adhesion, alignment, and finish quality.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area and comply with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with Friday overtime as needed

Pay Range:

Based on experience
