Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 5–10 years in electronics industry.
• Strong background in Edge AI design, model creation, deployment, optimization, and embedded AI systems.
• Hands-on experience with neural networks, edge inference, AI accelerators, vision processing, and power/performance optimization.

Job description

The Senior Edge AI Field Applications Engineer within Future Electronics’ Advanced Engineering Group is responsible for providing expert technical leadership and support for advanced Edge AI solutions. This role focuses on enabling customer success through deep expertise in Edge AI architectures, embedded processors, AI accelerators, model development, optimization, and deployment across embedded systems.

As a trusted technical partner, you will support customers throughout the complete design cycle — from concept and proof-of-concept to production — by providing guidance on hardware selection, AI model implementation, performance optimization, debugging, and system integration.

Working closely with Future Electronics’ Advanced Engineering team, Sales, and key suppliers, you will help drive regional business growth and accelerate customer adoption of innovative Edge AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering degree with 5–10 years of experience in the electronics industry
• Strong background in Edge AI design, AI model creation, deployment, optimization, and embedded AI systems
• Hands-on experience with neural networks, edge inference, AI accelerators, vision processing, and power/performance optimization
• Experience with Edge AI processors, development tools, software frameworks, and deployment ecosystems is highly preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented
• Strong understanding of embedded electronics and electronic distribution environments
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive technical strategies
