Future Electronics is seeking a Senior Edge AI Field Applications Engineer to lead technical guidance across Edge AI architectures, embedded processors, AI accelerators, and model deployment in customers' embedded systems.

You will work with Advanced Engineering, Sales, and suppliers to drive regional growth, support the full design cycle from concept to production, provide hardware selection advice, and help optimize performance while delivering training and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 5–10 years in electronics.
• Strong background in Edge AI design, model creation, deployment, and optimization.
• Experience with embedded AI systems and edge inference.
• Familiarity with AI accelerators, vision processing, and power/performance tuning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job description

The Senior Edge AI Field Applications Engineer within Future Electronics’ Advanced Engineering Group is responsible for providing expert technical leadership and support for advanced Edge AI solutions. This role focuses on enabling customer success through deep expertise in Edge AI architectures, embedded processors, AI accelerators, model development, optimization, and deployment across embedded systems.

As a trusted technical partner, you will support customers throughout the complete design cycle — from concept and proof-of-concept to production — by providing guidance on hardware selection, AI model implementation, performance optimization, debugging, and system integration.

Working closely with Future Electronics’ Advanced Engineering team, Sales, and key suppliers, you will help drive regional business growth and accelerate customer adoption of innovative Edge AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for Edge AI system design, AI model development, and deployment
• Partner with suppliers and customers to deliver high-value technical solutions and support qualified opportunities
• Support hardware selection, AI model optimization, benchmarking, and real-time edge inference implementation
• Conduct training sessions on Edge AI technologies, tools, and development frameworks
• Assist in developing Edge AI demonstration platforms and proof-of-concept solutions
• Build strong relationships with supplier and customer engineering teams
• Represent Future Electronics in customer-facing technical and sales activities
• Stay current with emerging Edge AI technologies, products, and industry trends
• Prioritize technical opportunities to maximize business impact and customer success

Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering degree with 5–10 years of experience in the electronics industry
• Strong background in Edge AI design, AI model creation, deployment, optimization, and embedded AI systems
• Hands‑on experience with neural networks, edge inference, AI accelerators, vision processing, and power/performance optimization
• Experience with Edge AI processors, development tools, software frameworks, and deployment ecosystems is highly preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented
• Strong understanding of embedded electronics and electronic distribution environments
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive technical strategies
