Job summary

Take2 Consulting, LLC is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to analyze data sources, develop ML models and AI agents, and explore RAG-enabled capabilities for mission-focused objectives.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity specialists, data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to transition concepts from research to deployable solutions while evaluating secure AI technologies for on-prem, air-gapped, and bandwidth-constrained environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in AI/ML, software, data or cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience with Python, React, or TypeScript.
• Experience with ML/LLMs and AI agents.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, network security, threat detection.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into operational capabilities.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Experience developing AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities (anomaly detection, threat hunting, automated response).
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, knowledge graphs, or AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience deploying AI in edge/on-premises/cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data sources (telemetry, inventories, logs, threat intel) to identify AI-enabled automation opportunities.
• Develop and evaluate ML models, AI agents, and RAG capabilities for mission needs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists, data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to mature concepts to deployable capabilities.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and ensure secure application in on-premises, air-gapped, and resource-constrained environments.
