Responsibilities include fine-tuning object detectors, processing high-res shelf imagery, and collaborating across vendors and ROS engineers to deliver high-performance AI solutions. Requires 5+ years in software/AI with a BS in engineering or CS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• 5+ years of related experience in software development, neural networks, robotics, and AI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and train deep learning models for fine-grained classification of thousands of retail products.
• Build end-to-end vision pipelines for stitch-stitching, image rectification, and glare removal from moving robot cameras.
• Establish semi-automated data annotation pipelines and synthetic data generation techniques.
• Leverage computer vision and deep learning tools with 3D vision, point cloud processing, and sensor fusion (RGB-D, LiDAR, cameras, radar).
• Work on multi-class object detection, instance segmentation, and metric learning.
• Develop code and AI frameworks in Linux real-time environments using C++ and Python; collaborate with ROS engineers to improve performance.
