Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced NDT Technician to support Radiographic inspection and Eddy Current methods for spaceflight hardware in Merritt Island, FL. You will contribute to part integrity, quality, and lifecycle assurance with a focus on safe, repeatable spaceflight.

The role requires 2+ years Level 2 experience in Eddy Current, NAS-410 training, and the ability to read blueprints. You will work with NDT teams across Spaceflight programs and may require overtime to meet critical

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 2 experience in the Eddy Current Method
• Must pass Eddy Current General Test and Specific Test by week 3
• Must meet the minimum training requirements per NAS-410 in Eddy Current
• Qualify to certify to level II status per NAS-410 in Eddy Current with 800 hours of experience
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain techniques to properly examine hardware, ensuring adherence to safety and specification requirements
• Perform inspections using Eddy Current equipment
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria identified on drawings or work orders
• Documentation and organization of inspection results
• Interface with Engineers/Managers to describe inspection results
