Job summary

Heartland Dental supported office in Hammond, LA seeks an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to support clinicians, take X-rays, manage supplies, and help keep the dentist's schedule running smoothly. Schedule: Mon-Thu 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-12pm.

You will assist with procedures, educate patients, maintain equipment, and uphold OSHA and safety policies. Heartland offers extensive training, benefits, and growth opportunities within a large network of offices.

Responsibilities

• Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
• Assisting the dentist in managing dental emergencies
• Maintaining lab equipment and supporting the dentist's schedule
