Job summary

Redhawk Dental Care is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to support the clinical care team. You will take and develop X-rays, organize lab equipment, and provide post-operative procedures while ensuring patient comfort and education.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous organization, and the ability to travel for training as needed. Prior dental assisting experience is a plus within Heartland Dental-supported offices.

Qualifications

• Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs.
• Travel at least every other month for training, occasional overnight.
• Dental assisting school certificate is a plus.
• Previous work experience in a dental practice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain lab equipment and take/develop X-rays.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative dental procedures to patients.
• Support the clinical treatment care of patients and maintain the dentist’s schedule.
• Educate patients on dental procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Follow OSHA and company safety policies.
