Qualifications

• 1 year of dental assisting experience (EDDA strongly preferred).
• X-ray certification is required.
• Solid understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and teammates.
• Experience with OpenDental is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside with restorative, surgical, and general dentistry procedures.
• Anticipate provider needs to keep procedures efficient and stress-free.
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms with meticulous attention to detail and infection control.
• Take high-quality dental radiographs and impressions.
• Educate patients on procedures, home care, and post-op instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and patient records.
• Ensure instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and organized.
• Manage clinical supplies and keep treatment rooms fully stocked.
• Be an active, trusted member of a collaborative dental team.
