Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Computer Engineer to advance the design ecosystem across Micron's engineering organization. You will develop, debug, and enhance EDA tools while collaborating with design, layout, and process teams to improve productivity and workflow efficiency.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, software development, and enabling engineers to perform at their best within Linux/Unix environments, with AI-enabled tooling to support productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Proven programming and software development experience with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to learn and apply AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance EDA tools, design flows, and methodologies that support CMOS design and verification activities.
• Debug, evaluate, and provide production support for in-house and commercial EDA solutions in Linux/Unix environments.
• Collaborate with design, layout, and process engineering teams to identify and resolve workflow, automation, and tool integration challenges.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and deliver training and support for engineering users.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools and technologies, where appropriate, to improve development efficiency, workflow automation, and design enablement processes.
