Job summary

Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, seeks a Computer Engineer to advance the design ecosystem across engineering teams. You will develop, debug, and enhance both in‑house and commercial EDA solutions, collaborating to improve productivity and design quality in a hands-on, troubleshooting role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated programming and software development experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting and automation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering teams.
• Ability to learn and apply AI-enabled tools or technologies to support engineering productivity and workflow improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance EDA tools, design flows, and methodologies that support CMOS design and verification activities.
• Debug, evaluate, and provide production support for in-house and commercial EDA solutions in Linux/Unix environments.
• Collaborate with design, layout, and process engineering teams to identify and resolve workflow, automation, and tool integration challenges.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and deliver training and support for engineering users.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools and technologies, where appropriate, to improve development efficiency, workflow automation, and design enablement processes.
