Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Winchester Hospital to support patient care and maintain a safe, clean clinical environment. You will help prepare rooms, assist patients, and ensure proper turnover of procedure spaces.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, CNA or nursing student with rotations, BLS. This 40-hour/week day shift role supports a large health system committed to excellence in care and equity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nurse’s Assistant certification or nursing student with rotations.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• in preparing rooms and equipment.
• assists with patient care to facilitate an orderly, efficient and safe clinical environment.
• ensuring the equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected.
• Provides quality and safe patient care.
• Facilitates patients in and out of procedure room.
• Independently performs turnover of procedure rooms (remove used scopes; changing over suction & O2 tubing; performs terminal cleaning of equipment, setting up room, inspects equipment and Endosoft to insure proper functioning) ensures expedient turnaround time in a neat environment.
• Obtain vital signs and record findings

Pay Range

$22.00 - $29.61

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
