Job summary

ThedaCare in Neenah, Wisconsin is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support patient care under the supervision of licensed team members (RN, APC, or physician).

The role involves completing documentation, reinforcing patient education, assisting with transport, and maintaining a safe environment. Schedule includes 12-hour day/mid shifts with no weekends and 2–3 holidays per year; location is ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• One year applicable healthcare experience.
• State of Wisconsin EMT-B or CNA certification or current nursing student; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Receives direction from licensed team members and provides technical support to optimize patient care.
• Reports patient condition to licensed team members to ensure safe, quality care.
• Completes documentation based on procedures and care provided.
• Reinforces patient education under licensed supervision to ensure continuum of care.
• Assists with patient transport to other departments as appropriate.
• Maintains a safe environment by cleaning equipment and stocking supplies.
