Job summary

RSU 57 is seeking an Ed Tech III for Special Education K-5 Behavioral Day Treatment at Massabesic East. The role supports teaching staff, assists with IEP processes, and handles computer-lab responsibilities within a dynamic school setting.

Responsibilities include instructional and non-instructional support, materials preparation, supervision duties, and collaboration with teachers to tailor learning activities. The position follows the RSU 57 Bargaining Agreement terms.

Qualifications

• Three years of post-secondary education or 90 hours in an educational field.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; understand instructional process.
• Knowledge of emergency, health and safety procedures preferred.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing in-service training as requested by administration.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning under direct supervision.
• Assist in developing strategies to reinforce material based on student needs and abilities.
• Support independent study, enrichment and remedial work as assigned.
