Job summary

ServingSchools is seeking an Educational Technician 3 to support implementation of behavioral plans and ABA services for students with special needs. The role collaborates with school staff and behavior specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.

The Ed Tech 3 candidate will help implement ABA services designed by a supervisor and ensure alignment with state requirements and professional standards. Maine-based credentialing is required or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Valid Ed Tech 3 certification from Maine DOE or willingness to obtain.
• One year relevant experience preferred.
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job description

The Educational Technician 3 works to implement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. The Ed Tech 3 can support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services designed by a supervisor.
