Job summary

ServingSchools is seeking an Ed Tech III to support behavioral intervention plans and deliver ABA-like services under supervision by a BCBA. The role collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to help learners at various ages meet learning and behavioral goals.

Candidates should have an Ed Tech III Certification, be at least 18, and be able to obtain the required health certificates and clearances.

Qualifications

• Ed Tech III Certification required to qualify for the role.
• Must be supervised by a BCBA or BCABA working with the client.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR certification if applicable and health clearances as per state.

Job description

The Ed Tech III works to implement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician can support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA.

Minimum Requirements

• Ed Tech III Certification
• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA
• One year relevant experience preferred
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
