Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care within the defined scope in the Emergency Department.
• Reassess patients and document vital signs.
• Position patients for exams and assist with transportation.
• Administer medications via barcode scanning and observe effects.
• Perform EKGs, suctioning, and initiating IV therapy as ordered.
• Document care in patient records and maintain professional standards.
• Complete competency requirements and other duties as assigned.
