Spurwink is hiring an Ed. Tech. III to support youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges in special needs classrooms.

This full-time role spans the regular school year plus a 28-day summer program with orientation at Spurwink's Portland training center. Compensation pays between $22.00-$26.00 per hour based on experience and criteria, plus a $3,750 sign-on bonus for new hires. This is a collaborative position with teachers and a comprehensive treatment team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 90 college credits.
• Eligible for Maine Ed Tech III certification.
• Experience with behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support students with treatment goals and educational services during the school day.
• Provide supervision and crisis intervention as needed.
• Supervise activities for students and work with a treatment team.
• Collaborate with teachers and clinical professionals to support learning.
