Job summary

MSAD #31 seeks an Ed Tech III to work with students in a self-contained 9-12 program at Penobscot Valley High School in Maine. The candidate will provide academic, behavioral and emotional support and instruction under the supervision of a Special Education teacher and a licensed Social Worker.

Experience with emotional disabilities and learning disabilities is preferred but training will be provided. Certification requirements include Ed Tech III, CHRC, and Safety Care as needed.

Qualifications

• Provide academic, behavioral and emotional support and instruction to students under supervision.
• Experience with emotional disabilities and learning disabilities in a self-contained setting is preferred, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support students academically, behaviorally and emotionally in a self-contained program.
• Work under the supervision of a Special Education teacher and a licensed Social Worker.
• Contribute to individualized education and behavior plans as needed.
