SpEd Ed Tech III – Day Treatment (Full‑time with Benefits, Fall 2026 Opening)

Position Summary: The SpEd Ed Tech III position works on a Special Education Team in the self‑contained program Rising Tide, a therapeutic day‑treatment program for students grades 9‑12 with academic, social, emotional, and/or behavioral needs. The role works 8 am to 3:30 pm (including a 30 min unpaid lunch) for 190 days per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic and behavioral support to students in grades 9‑12 with identified special education needs, including those related to executive functioning, social emotional, and behavior.
• Assist in the delivery of instruction within a self‑contained program setting.
• Collaborate with supervising teachers and content specialists to implement pre‑planned lessons and instructional activities.
• Provide immediate support and guidance to students experiencing a behavioral crisis.
• Aid in maintaining accurate records of data, interventions, and student progress.
• Promote positive social interactions.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay is $25.06 – $27.58 per hour based on experience, within the parameters of the applicable contract.
