Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced ED. You will assist nurses and doctors, perform clerical reception tasks, and help ensure smooth patient flow in a busy hospital setting.

Required BLS with a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred experience and additional life support credentials. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role within a leading Atlanta-area hospital system.

REQUIRED

1. High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience as an Emergency Department Technician.
2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
