Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks an Emergency Department Technician to support care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients during a 7p-7a shift. You will assist clinical staff and perform clerical reception duties as needed.

Required is a high school diploma or GED, plus BLS certification. Preferred candidates have 1 year ED tech experience and additional Life Support certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other unit-specific credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or post-secondary education.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred: 1 year of Emergency Department Technician experience.
• Preferred: ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical certifications in specific units.
