Enloe Medical Center, Inc. is seeking an ED Technician (Full-Time) at the Esplanade Campus in Chico, CA.

The role supports patient flow and basic care under RN supervision, including vital signs, rooming patients, specimen collection, and preparing patients for clinician evaluation. The ideal candidate has EMT or ED experience, CPR certification, and strong communication skills to interact with physicians, staff, patients, and families in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: EMT or Military Corpsman OR six months emergency department or pre-hospital experience.
• Desired: One year experience on an ambulance or in an emergency department.
• Minimum: Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and place patients in exam rooms.

The ED Technician provides basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They may perform selected procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. Patient care would include: obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, obtaining specimens, preparing, and assisting patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting clinician.
