Job summary

Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA is hiring an RN for the ENL 3 NTSICU. This position offers night shifts with 12-hour hours and a compensation range of $55.93-$79.75 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus up to $3,000.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork within a Level II trauma center. Experience in acute, critical, and ICU nursing is preferred, with California RN licensure and current CPR, ACLS, PALS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Basic Arrhythmia or equivalent within one year of hire.
• Hemodynamics or equivalent within one year of hire.
• Critical Care Course or equivalent within one year of hire.
• One year of acute nursing experience.
• One year of recent Critical Care RN experience.
• One year of recent Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Previous Paramedic, ED Triage Tech, EMT, ED Tech or Lift Tech experience.
• Basic Arrhythmia, Hemodynamics or Critical Care Course.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum: Basic Arrhythmia or equivalent (within one year of hire)
• Hemodynamics or equivalent (within one year of hire)
• Critical Care Course or equivalent (within one year of hire)
• Desired: One year of acute nursing experience
• One year of recent Critical Care RN experience
• One year of recent Intensive Care Unit experience

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Minimum: Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing

• Current PALS (within 6 months of hire)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale Certification (within 6 months of hire) (dept tracks)
• Desired: CNRN certification

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
