Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a PRN patient care assistant for the PCMG-MAIN Urgent Care Float Pool in Phoenix. You will work under supervision to perform direct patient care tasks, support care plan implementation, and assist in keeping patient charts accurate with routine data collection.

Shifts vary with 5pm-11pm blocks and weekend coverage; you will collaborate with clinical staff to ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining unit operations and patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current LNA/CNA or EMT certification OR RN student within 2 years of hire.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record routine patient data under supervision to ensure accurate charts.
• Assist in basic patient care activities and CPR during cardiac events as directed.
• Assemble admission charts and enter demographic data for timely records.
• Identify and report unusual findings to ensure timely intervention.
