Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support nursing staff with daily living activities, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and help maintain a safe environment under the RN in charge.

This full-time evening shift (12-hour) position requires EMT or CNA certification, current BLS, and knowledge of medical terminology, with about six months of acute care experience preferred.

• Current EMT Certification or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), if required by the State
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.00 to $26.68. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
