Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support patient care in a fast-paced ED. This role is an unlicensed, non-certified assistive position that provides basic nursing support under RN supervision and helps maintain a safe patient environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, EMT or CNA certification, BLS within 30 days, and knowledge of medical terminology. Prior six months in acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT Certification or CNA, Illinois approved Certification required upon hire.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Pay Transparency

Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.00 to $23.35. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
