Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking an ED Tech to support clinical care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The role requires knowledge to care for the age-specific population to which assigned and collaboration with the health care team.

Education and certifications include Georgia EMT or NREMT/Intermediate, nursing student with clinical rotations, or equivalently two years of patient care tech experience; BLS CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Georgia EMT or NREMT/Intermediate certification required
• Nursing student with at least 1 semester of clinical rotations within an acute care hospital required
• In lieu of 2 years of patient care tech/ER tech experience required
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification required

Responsibilities
