Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's Harbour View Medical Center is seeking an ED Tech to provide direct patient care under RN guidance, performing basic tasks, monitoring and documenting patient status, and supporting safe care in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and current BLS/EMR/EMT/MA credentials preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred at hire or obtained prior to direct patient care.
• EMR/EMT/MA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care and tasks under RN guidance.
• Completes patient rounding and 1:1 safety companion duties as needed.
• Reports changes and concerns to nursing staff for patient care.
