Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking an RN to provide direct, individualized patient care in the ER on a PRN basis, including medication administration and emergency response.

The role requires meeting ENA standards and hospital policies, with monthly chores assigned by the department manager and a fast-paced environment. Qualified applicants must hold a Kansas RN license, be ready to obtain CPR, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NIH, and NRP within 6 months, and have at least 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Kansas.
• CPR, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NIH, NRP within 6 months of employment.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical practice (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with physicians, team members, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and individualized nursing care to a group of patients based on ENA standards.
• Receives documents and executes provider orders per policy/standards.
• Prepares, administers and records medications per RN policy.
• Responds and participates in emergency care.
• Provides emergency care according to ENA standards and unit policy.
• Follows nursing care and related activities in ER per department and Medical Center policies.
• Completes monthly chore assignments as delegated by department manager.

Scheduled: PRN, Every other Sat, Sun, Days 6:30AM- 6:30PMResponsibilities and Duties:Provides direct and individualized nursing care to a group of patients based on the application of scientific principles and ENA standards.Receives documents and executes the provider’s orders as per policy/standards.Prepares, administers and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a RN.Responds and participates in emergency care.Provides emergency care according to ENA standards and unit policy and procedures.Follows nursing care and all related activities in ER according to policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of the department and Medical Center.Complete monthly chore assignments, as delegated by department manager.Working Conditions:Job responsibilities require working under constant exposure to noise, lighting, and/or temperature levels.
