Job summary

Paycom is seeking an experienced ER RN for a full-time day shift. The role focuses on delivering high-quality emergency care using the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—while engaging with patients, families, and the health care team.

The ideal candidate will hold an associates degree or diploma in nursing, a valid RN license with Multistate Compact privileges, and current BLS; ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 90 days, with TNCC preferred within 1 year.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patient and family with health information and written materials.

• Assist patients and families with empathy while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
• Assist in orientation/training of new employees and support staff.
• Assist other staff in their assignments and cross-train to ensure seamless patient care.
• Recognize staffing variations and volunteer to fill open shifts.
