Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum: Valid RN License in Connecticut.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: One or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Preferred: ACLS & TNCC certification within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• In the Emergency Department (ED) at Johnson Memorial Hospital, the RN delivers care to emergent and critical patients.
• Engages in didactic learning sessions to enhance ED nursing using a state-of-the-art simulation lab.
• Applies critical thinking to manage high-acuity and complex patients effectively.

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing school

RN license in Connecticut

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

BLS/CPR certification

ACLS & TNCC certification within three months of hire
