Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Sibley Nursing Team invites an Emergency Services Registered Nurse to join a 36-hour weekly schedule with nights (3p and 7p) and alternating weekends. The ED features 22 beds and a fast-track area, with a strong focus on innovative care, education, and quality improvement.

Minimum qualifications include DC RN licensure, graduation from an accredited RN program, and at least six months in acute care; ED experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
  • Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses.
  • Minimum of 6 months RN acute care experience; ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency nursing care in the ED.
  • Collaborate on quality improvement and patient education.
  • Participate in growth opportunities and training.
