Job summary

At Home Healthcare of Middle Tennessee is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a hospital setting. Your role includes working independently while maintaining teamwork, applying clinical skills, and ensuring the dignity and rights of patients are preserved.

Qualifications

As a Nurse You Will

• Work with patients in a hospital setting and provide them with an array of services
• Apply knowledge and skills in accordance with accepted standards of clinical practice to facilitate problem resolution and achieve individualized patient goals and outcomes
• Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct
• Deliver care in a manner that protects and preserves the patients' dignity, rights, values, beliefs, privacy and autonomy

Qualifications

This job requires a person who can work independently, yet never forget that continuous care requires a team effort. Additional requirements include:

• You must have a valid State nursing license or a license from a compact state.
• At least 2 year of nursing experience in your specialty
• Ability to cope with the emotional needs of patients and their families
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Respecting the patient's privacy and maintaining confidentiality
• Current TN driver's license and automobile liability insurance
• BLS, PALS & ACLS Certification (Depending on floor)
• Current TB skin test
• You must be able to satisfy employee screening results (background check, drug testing, motor vehicle report, licensure verification, abuse registry, OIG excluded individuals)
• 2 letters of recommendation, resume & immunization records
• 2 References
• Pass a routine physical (Depending on accepted facility)
